News 2020 Seminars Announced

Delaware Teachers Institute has announced the proposed seminars for the 2020 program and it is an exciting collection. Each year, teachers from the partner school districts are asked to identify topics they want to know more about. University of Delaware faculty then propose seminars to meet the needs of these teachers.

Indians ARE Americans - B. Joyce

Trauma and Identity in Literature - B. McKenna

Using Geospatial Data to Encourage Exploration and Ask Probing Questions About Place - T. DeLiberty and Mary Schorse

Interested teachers from Appoquinimink, Colonial, Christina, NCCVT and Red Clay School Districts are encouraged to attend the 2020 Curriculum Showcase to learn more about these seminars. This is also an opportunity for you to hear from DTI Fellows and the National Teacher of the Year, Rodney Robinson, about the influence Teachers Institute Seminars have had on their practice.
